A goal of the Portland Sea Dogs is to be a strong active contributing member of the community. One way that we accomplish this is through our charitable donations. The Portland Sea Dogs make every attempt to fill requests for donations, though we can not guarantee fulfillment of all requests. Any function or group that is holding an event that benefits the community and the people in it is eligible to receive a charitable gift from the Sea Dogs. Donations usually consist of a certificate redeemable for four Sea Dogs tickets.
In order for an organization to receive a donation, the Sea Dogs must receive a letter on company letterhead either by way of fax or standard mail. Unfortunately, emailed requests cannot be accepted. Please send the letter at least 4 to 6 weeks prior to your event to ensure that the Sea Dogs can review and fill you request in time.
Please include the following information in your donation request letter:
• Mission of group or organization
• Who will benefit from the event
• Description of the event and its purpose
• How the item will be used
• Date, time and location of event
• Address donation can be sent to
• Contact person with phone number and or email address
